Health Care Hand Hygiene Competition

The Gauteng Department of Health is conducting the most ambitious HANDWASHING campaign ever undertaken in South Africa. The programme began in late October, 2007. Health care workers from 36 Hospitals and 20 Community Healthcare Centres are participating in Team Rally hand washing competitions to identify the best hand washers at their health care facility.
